This practical half-day workshop will cover the main developmental issues of young children, particularly in relation to the teaching of dance.

Aims

• To provide teachers with an introduction to the appropriate content and methodology for the teaching of young children
• To highlight the important developmental milestones relevant to a child’s early dance education
• To discuss examples of how to plan for appropriate activities
• To discuss ideas on how to extend and develop classes throughout the school year
